Thursday, 04 January, 2024 From December 28th-31st, 2023, the Steet Ponte Auto Group was a proud sponsor of the Downtown Classic hosted in the state of the art, beautiful new Utica University Nexus Center in the hear of Downtown Utica, NY!  This tournament featured close to 30 of Upstate New York's top boys and girls high school teams competing under the bright lights of this beautiful new facility we have in our area. We were proud to also sponsor the Player of the Game photo backdrop! We’re so proud of these incredibly talented local athletes and can’t wait for next year’s event, we know it will be even bigger!

Saturday, 02 December, 2023 Steet Ponte Auto Group 16th Annual Holiday Giving Trees to Benefit ICAN in Utica, NY! November 24th-December 13th: Happy holidays from our families to yours! For the past 16 years we've donated to different local schools and organizations to help put a smile on the faces of our local kids in need. This year, we will be supporting the non profit organization, ICAN as well as the Amsterdam City School District! ICAN helps support a number of family and children services throughout Oneida and Herkimer Counties. Our Yorkville plus Chevy stores will be donating to ICAN, while Steet Toyota of Johnstown will be adopting families through the Amsterdam School. Take a tag from one of our giving trees located in all 8 of our showrooms and return an unwrapped gift with the tag attached to be donated! Friday, 11 August, 2023 On Sunday, July 30th, we held our 21st Annual Steet Ponte Auto Group Golf Tournament!! The golf tournament is open to our employees, friends, family and business associates. One of our Finance Managers plans this every year and it’s bigger and better each year! Each ticket includes 18 holes of golf, lunch, dinner, and entries to raffles. And since we get so many prizes for the tournament, everyone leaves with something! The winning team gets to display the trophy in their showroom for the year until the next tournament. This year, Chris Bivins’ team won of Steet Toyota of Yorkville! Last year, Dave Abdou’s team of Steet Ponte Ford Lincoln won the trophy. Our Golf Tournament is held at a different area golf course each year to support our local businesses and to change up the course for our participants. This year, we had 13 teams, including teams from 6 of our stores! We had a great day on the course and can’t wait for next year.

Wednesday, 02 August, 2023 We sponsored the amazing Fire Truck Spectacular for the 10th year in a row this year! The event is always a huge success, drawing thousands of local residents to the New Hartford Shopping Center. There, you can find fire trucks and rescue vehicles from area Fire Departments such as New Hartford, Whitesboro, Utica, Floyd, Sylvan Beach, and New York Mills, NY. This is a free event, held conveniently in the parking lot of the Shopping Center directly in front of Nicky Doodles Ice Cream! The event is geared towards kids and families to educate on fire prevention and safety, with a smokehouse, contest with firemen to see who can gear up the fastest, police vehicles and a rescue helicopter that lands at the end of the show. Our personal favorite? The sirens that all of the trucks let off at the very end as they depart!

Tuesday, 19 July, 2022 We recently had our Annual Steet Ponte Auto Group Company Picnic held, as always, at Enchanted Forest Water Safari in Old Forge, NY! This year marks over 20 years we have been holding this picnic for all of our employees and their families! The weather was beautiful, our lunch was delicious, and the rides were a refreshing escape from the July sun! Thanks to all who attended this year, and we look forward to next year's fun!

Sunday, 19 December, 2021 It’s almost that time of the year!! Our Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest is being held on the day of our Holiday Lunch Party on Monday, December 20th. We’re so excited to see what kind of turnout we have this year! Winners from the following categories will be chosen by none other than Joe Steet Sr. and Steve Ponte Sr. for: Funniest, Best DIY, Most Holiday Spirit, Most Unique, Best Pop Culture, Joe’s Favorite, Steve’s Favorite, Ugliest Ugly Sweater. There will also be a winner for MOST liked photo on all of our Facebook pages in the Auto Group! Tune in to our Facebook and Instagram accounts, as all photos will be posted by Christmas Eve!

Friday, 03 December, 2021 We wanted to thank every one of you who donated to our Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive!! We rotate donations to different local food pantries each year, and this year our donations went to the Utica Food Pantry located in the heart of Utica, NY! We were thrilled to see a stuffed SUV of donations, and we were able to give many local families a great Thanksgiving this year. We collected non-perishable food, as well as the traditional makings for a Thanksgiving dinner. We love to do this every year, we know our community has given us so much so we want to give back in any way that we can.

Monday, 18 October, 2021 It's that time of the year! The crew at United Auto Sales of Utica is excited and ready for this year's Halloween Costume Contest!! Every year, we encourage the team here on Commercial Drive in Yorkville to dress up for Halloween and participate in our Halloween Costume Contest! We upload all photos to our social media and the pictures with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd most likes wins cash prizes for the People's Choice, while our owners, Joe Steet Sr. and Steve Ponte Sr. pick winners from different categories for the Owner's Choice awards! Wednesday, 01 September, 2021 Double congratulations are in order for the Finance Department at United Auto Sales of Utica! Last Monday was a very bittersweet day for us at #UnitedAutoSales as we said Happy Retirement to our Finance Manager, Roger Pisaneschi! We celebrated with a catered lunch and said our "see you laters" to everyone's favorite Finance Manager over the past 25+ years! We're sure many of you reading this have been helped by Roger over the years into a vehicle you love, and we have been so happy to have him working with us. Roger always has a smile on his face and has been a team player through and through, always willing to help where it's needed. We will miss you, Roger, but we know that you'll be enjoying your family time, R&R in Alaska, fishing, hunting, and all the things you love to do! Thank you for a wonderful run! And now, we'd like to congratulate Dave Wright on his promotion to Finance Manager! Dave has been a longtime employee of the Steet Ponte Auto Group and was recently promoted to Finance Manager upon Roger's retirement! Dave has many years of experience in the Auto Sales Industry, as well as the Auto Service Industry having worked across the street at our Toyota store for a while, and of course for United Auto for many years. Rest assured, he knows this business inside and out and is a great asset to our store. Dave lives locally in Utica, NY, and in his spare time enjoys spending time with family and friends, and fixing things around his house! Dave's favorite vehicle is the Toyota Tundra TRD Pro. Dave looks forward to this new venture and is excited to help his customers, new and old, in a different department of the store!
