United Auto Sales of Utica Celebrates 10 Years Supporting the International Boxing Hall of Fame Parade of Champions

Canastota, NY | June 5–8, 2025

For the past 10 years, United Auto Sales of Utica has been proud to play a special role in one of the most anticipated weekends in boxing: Induction Weekend at the International Boxing Hall of Fame in Canastota, NY. Each year, we provide convertibles and drivers for the Hall of Fame’s annual Parade of Champions, transporting legendary fighters and special guests through the heart of Canastota in a celebration of sport, legacy, and community.

This year’s parade, held on Sunday, June 8th, was no exception. The streets were filled with excitement as more than 35 boxing greats from around the world returned to Canastota, including Hall of Famers Christy Martin, Felix “Tito” Trinidad, Erik Morales, Michael Spinks, Jim Lampley, and many more. Special guests also included Gerry Cooney, Nonito Donaire, Amir Khan, Kelly Pavlik, Ray Mercer, and “Irish” Micky Ward, just to name a few.

We were especially proud that three of our own were behind the wheel this year: Sales Manager, Kim Artessa, Sales Consultant, James Hagadorn, and Service Advisor, Cyndi Wilson had the honor of driving some of these boxing legends through the cheering crowds. And if that wasn’t exciting enough, actress Sydney Sweeney served as this year’s Grand Marshal, adding a touch of Hollywood sparkle to an already star-studded event.

At United Auto Sales of Utica, community involvement and supporting local traditions is a core part of who we are. We’re honored to have been part of the Parade of Champions for the past decade, and we look forward to continuing the tradition in the years to come.
